I think for people it´s easier to stick with Discord communities these days (which is something what will eventualy happen). Although I certainly hope these forums will not die completely anytime soon :).

Perhaps a community person needs to liven things up around here. lol

I wouldn't know anything about the dev chats. since. well... i'm not one and I doubt you take writers or va's right now.

I guess people are just not interested in coming to the forums. Most people get their news/interaction done on moddb.

Well good to know. I think I remember your name too. Shame the old forum doesn't exist anymore just to check back on the old threads. I remember having some good times there. I could be wrong but there doesn't seem to be much activity here post 2017. any reason for that?

MrSugar and I were both on the OBM team before the merge. The merge happened maybe 6 months after I joined OBM, although I had been on the Guard Duty team already for well over a year and a half.

There's a couple others who have been on the Guard Duty team for a really long time. Such as TheComedian and TheSixtyEight. Although I don't recall their exact recruitment dates.

Hello everyone, its been a real long time. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me but I used to be a member on the old OBM forum back around 2010-11ish as Banjo-Tooie. I dropped out from the place after the merger happened with Guard Duty and went off into my own life's adventures. Well I was feeling nostalgic latley and saw that this mod was still in development and decided I might as well make an account and maybe drop in to chat from time to time. Half-life 1 and its expansion packs Opposing Force and Blue Shift are some of my favorite games and would love to see these two mods get released and have as much love and attention as that Black Mesa remake got.

So I am curious if anyone around from the old days of 2010/11 are still around.
