The ladders look awesome, it's also cool that you managed to make them look good while also keeping performance and stability in mind. The red ladders look so nostalgic.

Can you show creates?
But If you want to see some crazy old work of mine you can check out my moddb page, where I have a short video showing some crates I made.
...or do you mean you want to see how I create props? like a timelapse or something?

Happy weekend everyone!
It's been about a month since my last post, so I figure it's about time I show something else off for you guys who loyally stick around
Back in June of 2016 I decided to make some guard rails to line some of the major roadways around the BMRF with.
They are your typical North American design.
I put together a render in Marmoset for you guys.

Hey boys and girls,
In order to make our exteriors seem a tad more detailed and parking areas seem a bit more realistic I created a fully modular set of concrete curb models to replace the brushwork that would typically be used. This was done back in August of 2016.
The complete set (not including custom shapes for specific areas) totals to 23 models. Each piece has 3 skins: grey, yellow, red. A few custom pieces have a 4th skin to simulate smooth dark grey cement.

ohhh snap dude! looks awesome!

think colors should be "sun bleached", red should be darker and not every side round. Is it possible to have a full time job and a hobby?

thanks for the "suggestions", but it's all final.
Your suggestions are simply based on your personal preference. There are many different types of curbs in real life... hard edges vs rounded edges, dark colors vs light colors, etc etc. If I wanted hard edges then models would be unnecessary and we would just use brushes
Plus you don't know the areas these are being used, nor are you taking into account the in-game lighting and how it affects the color and overall appearance of the models. -
Yo peeps,
Today I'm bringing you a few renders of a couple train track models I've been hard at work making for the past few days.
They are still a work in progress, but pretty close to completion, so I couldn't resist throwing together some quick renders for you guys.
In total there are over 10 models in the set. In order to get as close to photo-realism as possible, I literally went out and took some photos of some train tracks in my local area and used those as a starting point for the texture.
They are for a chapter of Guard Duty that I've been focusing on lately. Can you guess which one that is?
-
Nice, Thanks for handing us some insights in your work! I do very much look forward to see more! Wouldn't have imagined that railroad tracks could be exciting at all
-
Oh my lord ! Those railroad tracks look absolutely stunning, you really did an amazing job !
-
haha I'm glad others get as excited about my models as I do. I'm definitely no master of modeling - hell, I don't even do high-poly stuff yet - but I'm far more skilled than I was a few years ago. So just being able to produce any worthwhile models at all is pretty satisfying for me.
Hopefully I'll have more to show you soon. Or maybe I'll gather some more screenshots of past work to show you. -
Hey guys,
Here's a couple renders of some metal shelves I made back in February of 2016 to replace the metal shelves that we had at the time; which as you can see were fairly low quality and stood out quite a bit because of it.
ps: Happy mothers day -
We need to combine black mesa and operation black mesa to create 3 games with best part of every one
