Whats Your Favorite Genre of Video Games?

If anything, I usually play nothing but mmorpg's most of the time. Sometimes shooters and survival games if I'm in the mood.
(Which I'm not the majority of the time.)

For me, mostly FPSs (especially open-world ones like Borderlands 2) and survival horror, like Resident Evil.

Believe it or not I'm not a huge fan of plain shoot-em-ups.

I prefer more classic games like Driver and the original Tomb Raider and Sonic Adventure.

I remember playing Tomb Raider on the Dreamcast years ago, but I never really got that far haha. I thought it was a pretty fun game though. If anyone has played the newer versions, are they worth buying?

I like games that have lots of action and physics manipulation, with some plot to hold it all together.

I think I played the original Tomb Raider for a grand total of 15 minutes, years ago.
The reboot, however, was just amazing. If it wasn't for the upcoming Watch Dogs, GTA V and Metro: Last Light (and it only being March) I'd declare it GOTY.

First post here since 2013 :D! My favorite genres are epic strategy games (such as Total war). I love the feeling of building my own empire and launching invasions with my armies. Been a while since I played any long campaign, gotta dust of rome: total war some of theese days ...

I'm a strategy fan, more into old command & conquer titles (c&c tiberium series & red alert 1)

Also a big fan of classic FPS titles, not much pulls me in these days, I've seen Rome total war but never had a chance to play it, is it any good?

I'm pretty much into tycoon, such a rollercoaster tycoon, theme hospital etc.

don't mind FPS which should have either great co-op or at least immersive storyline.

Oh and adventures, prefer the mysterious and horror ones so far. Life is Strange, Walking dead, Black Mirror, Memento mori are my favourites. Oh and games like Penumbra, Outlast, Amnesia are just great, can't wait for SOMA actually!

A lot of list, I haven't played yet, but I'll will see
